SNOWDON SPORTS is a third generation family business. The late Thomas Richard (Dick) Snowdon started out as a freelance sports journalist in 1936. His son, Graham Richard Snowdon, took over the running of the business in 1970 with his wife Peta and, in turn, their son Frazer Richard Snowdon joined the partnership in 2001. Frazer had previously had eight years' experience in local papers, the last five as sports editor of one of the largest circulation weeklies in Yorkshire.
In 2006, after 36 years at the helm, Graham Snowdon handed day to day running of the business over to Frazer Snowdon but is still actively involved, while Frazer has now also been joined in the business by his wife, Andrea.
