In 2007 we became the official media partners of the BRITISH HANDBALL ASSOCIATION, producing the Handball News, a weekly newsletter sent out to hundreds of media outlets across the country aimed at raising the profile of this exciting sport.
An Olympic event since 1936, handball is hugely popular across Europe and was voted best sport at the Sydney games in 2000. Few people in Britain have ever seen a handball match, but we look forward to playing our part in changing hearts and minds in the run-up to London 2012.
Snowdon Sports handle all media enquiries to the BHA, and Andrea Snowdon is now also the Operations Officer for the association, providing essential back-office logistical support to the Great Britain squad.
