SNOWDON SPORTS have been official statisticians to the Rugby Football Union, the governing body of England Rugby, since the introduction of a league structure to the game 30 years ago.
Since the launch of the leagues at the start of the 1987-88 season, Snowdon Sports have been retained by the RFU Northern Division to ensure that all media outlets have immediate access to the full results and updated tables of every league appropriate to their circulation or broadcast area.
Additionally, we handle other administrative tasks for the northern leagues, which embrace more than 230 clubs playing in 18 leagues, including the creation of the coming season’s fixtures and the distribution to clubs of match cards and other essential documentation.
We are also the official results agency for the RFU London and South East Division, comprising more than 300 clubs playing in 24 leagues in an area from Norfolk to the Channel Islands. A separate, dedicated staff receives and collates London and South East results on the final whistle for submission to the www.englandrugby.com website and the wider media.
We are also responsible for the results of the Zoo Sports Shield Leagues, and various regional competitions such as the Eastern Counties Greene King Leagues.
